Beacon has been working with community retrofit partners to develop a set of research based, independent assessment tools and guidelines to enable homes to be renovated to a High Standard of Sustainability, a set of performance benchmarks to measure a sustainable home.

You can use one of these tools online to generate a Renovation Plan, and if you are interested in being further involved, you can participate in a Pilot Project where 1000 homes across New Zealand are working with Beacon to improve their homes, and allow researchers to evaluate the improvements in performance.
